Belarus, Pakistan to lease each other land for embassies for 49 years

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) - The Council of the Republic of Belarus' National Assembly ratified the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on mutual allocation of land for diplomatic missions in Islamabad and in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

The agreement was signed in Islamabad in November 2015. According to the document, the parties shall provide land plots to each other in Islamabad and Minsk for the embassies on a parity basis for a period of 49 years.

The annual rent for the land will be $1.
